The new server has Solid state ([url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid-state_drive]link[/url]) drives in a Raid 10 configuration. Average comparison of 15k drives verse SSD drives shows a latency difference of 7000(HDD) verse 200(SSD)([url=http://www.storagesearch.com/ssd-ram-v-flash.html]link[/url]). That means it's taking the SSD 2.8% of the time it take a traditional hard drive. Changing the raid from a 5 to 10 should increase performance as well. In this experiment Raid 5 executed 527 writes and 1,393 reads; while the Raid 10 executed 1,088 writes and 1,669 reads. That means raid 10 operates at about 52% higher write and 17% higher read over a raid 5. Moved to 64gig of DDR 3 as well. It is set to use all three slots and 1333mz. Not really sure the impact on the hardware level, but increased memory means increased caching of all content. Lastly 64bit. There as been all sorts of disputes on actual performance. This leads me to believe if there is any it is negligible.

This plan would implement a fiber backbone from our internet router to the firewall and from the firewall to the server. Now our internet connection is no where near 1-10gig in speed, who's is? But should reduce some latency.

It needs to match the original company color scheme.2) The Dominator Gold Tuned images are of the prototype cables. (These should show the Neutrik NP2X-BAG connector)3) The Club Series Guitar detail page, The Images 1 -4 are not showing the right picture above when selected4) Getting an occasional "Server error" on a few pages, when I go back and try again it seems to go thru.
